Verse 5

समरव्यसनी प्रमादशून्यः ककुदो वेदविदां तपोधनश्च। परवारणबाहुयुद्धलुब्धः क्षितिपालः किल शूद्रको बभूव।।५।। 

Passionately fond of war; free from negligence; chief of those who knew the vedas; rich in penance; and eager to fight with his two arms the elephants of his enemies - such indeed was King Sudraka

समर-व्यसनी प्रमाद-शून्यः ककुदः वेद-विदां तपस्-धनः च। परवारण-बाहु-युद्ध-लुब्धः क्षिति-पालः किल शूद्रकः बभूव।।5।।
